As a father of a 4 year old, a fellow pumpkin grower, and a cop I can
certainly relate your feelings regarding the theft of your son's
pumpkins. Unfortunately the situation you describe happens all too often,
and I'm not talking just pumpkins. It seems that there seems to be more
and more people in the world whose sole intent and purpose in life is to
make life miserable for the rest of us.
Luckily my display of pumpkins in the front yard on my '40 Ford flatbed
truck complete with scarecrow and spot light has not been vandalized but
then its still 4 days till Halloween. And this is after it made the front
page in the local paper.
There's not much I can do to ease your son's pain but as others have
said, if there is anything I can do I'm just an e-mail away.
