Well, I have been getting a lot of mail. SOme asking for my next year's seeds
and some telling me I have no hope of even coming close to Chris Anderson.
One guy told me I should substitute the "bull" I am putting out for cow
manure and use it on my garden. Being rather insensitive, none of this
bothered me.
I did get comments about having the pH wrong. I said I was going for 7 and
was told that 6.8 is better for growing pumpkins. Also that I could not rely
on the pH as being accurate if I just added compost not too long ago. Another
person said I didn't have enough space, 4 plants in roughly 2000 square feet.
They felt 500 square feet wasn't really enough per plant. Any comments?
My fence is going up. The post holes are dug. My seeds are drying. There also
was a long post that my seeds 1006/1061 would be no good. That one did offend
me a little. Chris promised me seed and so I may have at least one good shot.
I think the post about the seed was not true. Al Eaton will reply to this one
I am sure.
