The Caravan
by Pumpkin Flower
While driving down Route one
With our Pumpkins in the back
We were following the Pumpkin Guy
Because he knew the track
Ahead we saw a detour sign
For bumps were in the road
And all with common sense would have
Turned round or even slowed
But not the Pumpkin Guy up front
The one in orange tails
He hit the gas that trailer flew
As if it had some sails
And being right behind him
In our brand new little truck
With eyes a popping open wide
We wished him lots of luck
Before to long that pumpkin jumped
Despite it's heavy load
Oh yes it really "saw some air"
Clocked sixty I was told
That pumpkin guy would not slow down
I guess he's got the power
We caravaned on to "The Fair"
And made it on the hour
That pumpkin it did not dare crack
Or slip before it weighed
This man in orange just sped on
The memory will not fade
