Re: pumpkin sales

Gaylen,

I wouldn't go less than 50 cents a pound. I'd try to get $1 a pound.
According to an article that Joe Mills found, some produce grocer paid $1,500
for a 630 lber this year. The pumpkin was said to have been grown in Virginia
and so Joe was trying to investigate the grower. The Virginia record has
probably been beaten this year.

The guy offered to buy Joe's pumpkin, also. Joe declined.
