went to Ottawa and was able to finish with a respectable 625.0 LB AG, and
this would not have been possible without his help. I have always believed
that you take people at face value and how they treat you and Al Eaton is a
class act. In all fairness to Gus Saunders as well he also has treated me
in a great manner when I joined the Ottawa St. Lawrence Growers
Association, the only thing I think is that he should have settled this
difference behind closed doors both out of respect for Al Eaton and the
 growers association

I'm new to this pumpkin thing. A lot of people are new to e-mail and e-mail
etiquette. I'm not surprised or shocked that someone might air a gripe
publicly. It's a common mistake and should be looked at as an "opportunity
for improvement". In my group of friends and business partners we've made
this mistake, and now NEVER air arguments over e-mail.

No one benefits when conflict and disagreement between 2 people is shared with
the larger group using an e-mail format. The arguments tend to be
inflammatory and not supported by all the facts. Not to mention the fact that
most of us don't understand the problem (and pretty much don't care). It
quickly degenerates and nobody benefits.

So let's move on and keep discussion LIGHT, and the pumpkins HEAVY.
