Re- Al Eaton


 Just a short message to all in support of Al Eaton. This was my first year
of Competitive Pumpkin growing and his encouragement throughout this summer
enabled me to grow not just one but two 600+ pumpkins off the same plant. I
went to Ottawa and was able to finish with a respectable 625.0 LB AG, and
this would not have been possible with out his help. I have always believed
that you take people at face value and how they treat you and Al Eaton is a
class act. In all fairness to Gus Saunders as well he also has treated me
in a great manner when I joined the Ottawa St. Lawrence Growers
Association, the only thing I think is that he should have settled this
difference behind closed doors both out of respect for Al Eaton and the
