RE: Word from Dixon(CA..growers only)

I spoke with Mike today

Dixon is cancelled due to "technical difficulties" - I think lack of
funds to do a proper show

Mike was very nice and very apologetic. He seems to want to do the right
thing and could not due to lack of resources so canceled.

I did not pre-register at HMB and hope this will not be a problem

I will cut my pumpkin and look forward to meeting some of you there on
Monday

	I would oppt to go to HMB that weigh -off has it "totally
together" there
	will be tons of growers.........hopefully you
pre-registered.....Its hard
	to figure whats going on in Dixon not sure the director is
interested in a
	real weigh-off.......as there is a rumor that big pumpkins that
have placed
	already can enter so it gives me the impression that all that
Dixon is
	interested is buying some big pumpkins.....and not a big
	weigh-off.........as their lack to get any information to anyone
to
	broadcast on the net or pass the word.................just a
	hunch......hope I eat my words and find something in the mail
