A wonderful time was had in have HMB as many growers congregated at the
Holiday Inn............to swap stories I was able to meet some of the
outstanding folks from the group....from up north too cool............the
word was out that the 3 top pumpkins measurements were only off by a 1or 2
inches..............so that got the crowd of growers stirring as there were
no clues" size wise" who would win ..............my eyes watered as i saw
the Joy and elation from Pete Glasier and Cindi slamming into the 800's for
the first time .......years of persistance had finally paid
off..............and the crowd went wild........then Kirk Momberts steps up
to plate with his personal best in the 900's.........the Larues making him
sweat all the way with their 900 .........so yes folks we had the making of
a killer weigh-off...............as i believe Lincoln mettler shattered the
HMB record................and started an incredible personal best
......................so with out delay 7 personal best were achieved today
which added to the great feeling of pumpkin growers uniting
