The results of the Giant Urban Pumpkin Growers of America (GUPGA) weigh off
are as follows:
1. Jon Horkey ("La Bomba")-356 lbs.
2. Paul Stone ("Myrtle")-353 lbs.
3. Joe Purviss("Elizabeth")-331 lbs.
4. Greg Wilmes-321 lbs.
5. Paul Wilmes-284 lbs.
6. Greg Logajan-204 lbs.
7. Deborah "Orangie" Callahan-155 lbs.
8. Lanny O'Reilly, Maggie Holm, Tasha Holm, Ellie Holm, and Lauren Holm
(team pumpkin)-74 lbs.
A good time was had by all, except for the pig who gave his life so that
others might eat.
