My brother and me used to have ways of getting back at our parents when they
wouldn't stop at a restaurant we wanted to go to or something. We used markers
and wrote on a big piece of paper: "HELP! WE ARE BEING KIDNAPPED!" and held it
up out the back window. After a few minutes, and an encounter with several
heavily armed officers of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, well, let's just say
my parents were not amused. Another fun thing to do to pass the time on the
express way is to periodically pour a few ounces of whatever beverage you are
drinking out the window, then wager on how many windshield wipers on the cars
behind you willl go on. Of course then your dad wonders why the guy behind him
sped up, pulled up on the side, stuck his middle finger out the window, and
was trying to ram us off the road.
Go figure.
