On our way to the Handley Invitational track meet in Winchester, VA in the
spring of 1975, Mark Terlesky zipped a PBJ sandwich out the bus window at a
passing car. It stuck to the windshield.
Mark was a good shot. On the same trip, he found an unused tampon on the
floor of the bus. He threw it at the fast asleep, Terry Quinn, and it stuck
in Terry's left nostril. Otolaryngolical brilliance at an early age! It took
3 of us to hold Quinn, a hot tempered shot putter and quarter miler. He would
have crushed Terlesky, a 2 miler.
