I didn't really believe in sandpapering the seeds sides but being an experimental sort of a chap I sandpapered all the seeds this year and now I have a 100% strike rate. I have never had that before so now I am a sandpaper freak. Chris Andersen (California) your seeds from 634 and 997 are going great. Grandson of Jabba is being used in Kawerau so we are expecting great things there as well. I am buying plastic worm farms for prizes this year at cost from El Predidento of PONZ in S Island. All seedlings are at the cotyledon stage so I am waiting for the true leaf to show before I put them out. The weather has perked up a lot and it is now suny and warm - much more springlike! www.hawera.net.nz Have a 'Parky' day. John S.
