Re: Circleville, Ohio Weighoff?!

Steve:

It is an official site, I think it is the IPC. The problem with Circleville
is that they limit entrants to a 20 mile radius. I live in Canal
Winchester, OH which is about 17 miles from Circleville.

It is a great festival, but the pumpkins are small because of the
limitation. I currently have a pumpkin on the Mombert 828 plant that
measures 250" OTT. Very small. With the drought and heat, coupled with the
mosaic virus that hammered the growers in the immediate area, I have a shot
at a respectable placing.

Hopefully you are close enough. The weighoff is Wednesday Oct. 20 at 11:00
am. The record is 628 lbs. Hope this helps.
