You know Beth has a point. Many of us, especially those in smaller weigh-offs,
have contributed funds to make our weigh-off GPC sanctioned. It would be nice
to know if the GPC has a national publicity strategy. If a champion should ever
come from one of these smaller sites such a strategy would be a real service --
certainly worth a portion of that site entry fee. Any growers know anyone who
is a publicist or in an advertising firm who could offer such as service? How
about getting a group of advertising majors at a college to take on something
like this as a class project? Then the GPC could promise its champion fortune
(i.e. prizemoney) AND fame!
