I agree Mike, I'm too new to have any pull in this
obsession, but the added info would especially help tyros
like me to know who to beg seeds from.
One gentleman I met at Canby refused politely to give me
seeds, due to the fact His pumpkin had grown near some
regular squash, and He was worried about cross polination.
His pumpkin had weighed in at well over the estimate. As
this is one of the perameters I assume I should look for,
it would be easy to write down estimated weights before
weigh off and compare to actuallities as they go on the
scales.
I kept my pumpkin label for reference, the "tale of the
tape" will go on the back.
