Paul,
the seeds from my 244 estimate are exactly like how you described.
they have the texture and feel of the white seeds, but half the seed is tan.
they are all identical. The seeds are from a 936.5 handy X 697 ciliberto.
Didn't pay much attention to it, and it rotted, but i was wondering about
the odd color myself. maybe doc. eddleman is still out there and can lend
some advice

: Have you ever seen seeds like this?
I removed the seeds yesterday from a 636 lb that came from the 935 Lloyd
plant X with the McIntyre 835/98 . The color of the seeds is tan colour
on the
rooting end of the seed and the other half of the seeds are white. Every
seed is
identical in this colour scheme. I guess I will call them the "NEW
MILLENIUM
SEEDS".
Are these seeds unique or have seeds in the past had this colouring.
Does this mean 2000 lb pumpkins will come from these seeds?????
.....Paul
