first year grower-manure ?
Rototilled 3 pick-up loads of ground up leaves into my newly expanded
garden tonight. Have option to put on horse or cow manure.is one better
than other? How much can I put on? Can I put too much on? Can I put any on
in spring or better just in fall? How about weed seeds in the manure. Do I
need to put any thing on my garden to get everything cookin !!,like lime or
compost starter. I went to my first pumpkin contest in
Altoona,PA two weeks ago,my friend thought he had a GIANT pumpkin,so we
took it down,needless to say, it was no GIANT,249lbs.WE witnessed the new
World Record of Gerry Checkon`s1131 pounder.She grew that only about 60
miles from me here in Brockway,so I`m going to get started on growing a big
one next spring. Thanks Mike
