Re: GPC Pumpkin Growers Present
Hi Bob,
Thanks for the reply and for pointing out just one of the many contributions
Duncan makes to the "Pumpkin World". If it weren't for Duncan and this list,
I surely would have never been tempted to grow an AG. We all owe him a great
deal of thanks for all the long hours. Thank you Duncan! And would someone
please be able to explain the difference between the GPC and WPC, if indeed
there is one? I am trying to understand what they stand for. Example: Does
GPC stand for Great Pumpkin Commonwealth, and WPC stand for World Pumpkin
Confederation? And if so, what is the difference between these two groups
and are we all automatically members or is this something we would join
depending on where we live? I know this is a lot of questions, sorry! , I am
just a little confused and trying to figure it all out.

<< Karri,
Listing all the sites is a difficult task. I don't think anyone is trying
to
exclude a site. The GPC and WPC are the biggies. There's lots (probably
hundreds) more. Hats off to Duncan who has spent hours posting them. Most of
them come in varying formats and can not be just copied and pasted. He has
by
far the largest list on the net.
I also have listed sites who sent updates to me so I know just how much work
it entails. It is - - http://members.aol.com/ezpumpkin/hitters.htm
Half Moon Bay happens to be on my list. (Duncan, you can copy and paste it
if
it helps to complete the list.) I also collect a lot of sites that are
smaller as well as ones from England.

Hi Duncan,
I noticed that Half Moon Bay isn't on this list. I am getting the impression
that there is 2 very distinct groups. Would someone please be kind enough to
explain the differences between the 2? Thanks!
