Just a word on the aggressive growth of these babies...
I happened to stop by my patch a couple of days ago
and with all the dead vegetation and a LOT of weeds,
where my 576 Castellucci 96 was growing is about a
6 foot vine section of vine, still green (which looks really
strange amidst all the dead stuff), and out at the end of
it is the prettiest little 5 lobe female that had blossomed
that morning. Just goes to show you that these plants
strive to maintain the preservation of their life line by
producing offspring as long as they can.
