Another observation, no epiphany.
This evening I also was hacking off leaves first and on some vines the sap
was rising in all the leaves coming off one side of the vine, but not in the
ones coming off the other side. Brock, you had some observations a while
back about how nutrients might move along one side of the vine only? Or
that the two sides might function differently. Do you have any further
ideas about that?
