POWDERY MILDEW
Yo Beth,
Powdery mildew is everywhere all the time. You cannot hope to get
rid of it ever.It only breeds in warm damp still conditions. If your weather
is like this for more than 2 days then it will breed at an alarming rate. You
have to spray your plants immediately to keep the fungus at bay.I spray
every week or so just to make sure and always when the forecast is warm and
damp.Once it takes a hold your plant will suffer.Even misting your pants
(sorry, plants) on warm days can cause the conditions beneath the leaves
where the air is still so be careful on that point as well.I lost 200 onions
to the mildew this year even after spraying.
