My patch is packed - i'm ready to go

I spent the weekend loading the last of the compost bins
into the hole in the ground that has taken all three compost bins (3m3) and
about twenty sacks of horse ' you know what'. The patch is all limed, raked
over nice and smooth and looks great with about a metre deep dark loam. This
weekend I will swipe a load of straw from the stables in the A&P Showgrounds
for the mulch, put a customised sprinkler system in and sit back and admire
the handiwork.

Seeds go in next week, in the glasshouse that is. Ten seeds
with some of yours Barb Kincaid and a few EMMONS 538s and a few others I
cannot remember the names of but they have been in the fridge for a year
behind the butter conditioner.

We have four hundred packets of seeds saved from last year
(eight seeds to a pack) all prepared to go to the general public in our
fifth annual Pumpkin Grow. Demand for the seeds has started from across
Taranaki as pumpkin fever hits again. I now have two staff involved with the
Pumpkin Grow as it has grown really well since you guys helped us out a few
years back.
