show and tell
"Picked" (thanks Chris) a est 350 lb (OTT 255) pumpkin
yesterday off my Hester 523 plant. Pumpkin was dark
orange, kind of flat and long, smooth skin. It going
to show and tell next week at my daughters school. It
will be a lot of fun for both me and her. oh the joys
of growing !
The pumpkin will stay on display till halloween.
350 lbs is huge to anyone not on the list... all the
people at the school think i'm a real "expert" of some
kind. which made me laugh !
but getting to be a big fish in a small pond is still
lots of fun !!!
