Marc (and others),
I should have probably mentioned a few things:
1. The water bottles are used to:
a) as a sort of fence from mice, etc...(not working)
b) keep the pumpkin warm at night under the tarp...tonight will freeze in
my garden....this is MN!
2. It was crossed (760 Patrick) with a 815 Checkon that is now blue/green
(it is on the same web page)....so I am not sure what the offspring will look
like????
(But good growth potential, eh?)
3. It only grew 3" OTT last week as the season here is basically over.
(Which makes my wife and kids VERY happy :)
4. I have a friend who created a 772 Creuziger x 760 Patrick cross this year,
which should have great offspring color.
5. I only plan on taking it to the SE MN Weighoff.
Thanks again for all the GREAT notes!
Take care,
David Bhaskaran
