Earlier this season I threw out the idea of running another pumpkin pool
but nobody bit.
At the moment I'm completely swamped... I have about 90 essays to mark
by next Wednesday and then the next batch comes in. I'm also in the
midst of moving.... A pumpkin pool can be quickly organized but I don't
have the time. Last year, the entire process required the handling of
over 400 email messages.
If anyone wants to pick up the ball, here's what I did:
1. Ask for donations for prizes
2. Ask people to email you their guess weight, name, email address and
hometown
3. Set a deadline
Easy
Check the archives for last year's rules
I hope someone tries it
