to shade or not to shade?
As it is my first year I am quite happy with my current circ. measurement
of 85 ". The pumpkin is doing fine and still growing. My question is I
understand that the idea is to give it shade during the heat of summer as
in theory it will continue to grow faster as the sun does not have the
chance to ripen it as fast, but in this stage of the season do you still
need to shade or is the warmth of the sun more beneficial to its last few
weeks of growth???
