I am trying to find out more about some "pumpkins" we found in Pennsylvania 2
years ago. I bought one and saved the seed and grew some this year but I am
wondering whether or not they were hybrids. These pumpkins looked more like
a giant butternut squash with necks that were varied in shape. Many weigh
10 lbs or so. What I really want to know is the name of this vegetable and
its culture. Also, do pumpkins get sweeter after they have been hit by frost?
