I've always been a little wacky... my wife and others
tell me that I am all the time !
"the one" (gee are your referring to Hera here ?) is
not upsetting me. and i'm sure it's for real. why
wouldn't it be? I'm happy for Diana. I'm not sure why
she wanted a theory or an effect named after her?
that's how this all started. But I think it is great
that he has a huge pumpkin. I hope it holds up for
her. Do you think i'd be giving my opinions on how to
help with her split, if i was all upset?
I give credit were credit is due. I'm happy for every
grower that grows a big one. I've offered many
private congratulations to people on the list who have
done so.
sorry to hear your didn't have a banner year...
but i don't know what makes you think that i've had a
bad year ? I've had my best year ever. each pumpkin
that comes off has been new personal best. 4 in a
row, and i've still got a few left on the vines.
I am over it... I thought that post would funny that's
all. its called sarcasm. so your barking up the wrong
tree here. I don't want a theory... never have. I've
stated that before.
I'd rather grow medium size pumpkins that I, my
family, my neighbors and the local school kids get a
kick out of, than grow a world record and have a
theory named after me- that's been my point all along
!

Are ! You gong wacky: Its only pumpkin weighoff time ,
not the end of the world,
you will probly get a big one in 2001, sit back, drink
a cool one, relax, you don't need a theory,
just a big pumpkin.
I'am told that one that seems to be upsetting you is
for real, face it, after weighoff there will
be more of them. It just gives us more reason to try
harder, really: have we done everything that was
possible this year. If we're honest, I believe not. So
let's move on & give credit where credit is due.
