To remove the patch I will lay a wet towel over the
patch until it softens and then clean out and dry the
split for the weigh-off.
If the split goes into the cavity at that time, Hera's
going to stay home and miss all the fun.
(If the split is into the cavity now, Hera won't feel
like going to the weigh-off.)
