glenn, It's a practical problem. I expect that Hera
will be fine but if she is not, I have two other
pumpkins that are competitive, Athena and Aphrodite.
I'm having a party on October 7th to get the manpower
to move the pumpkins and I can only put two pumpkins
on my truck.... So one pumpkin has to stay home. If
Hera can't compete, she has to stay home and just
dream about tooling around in that new truck.
So we'll see what happens and what I can do. Getting
these goddesses out of the patch and on to a truck is
a rather weighty situation.... I still haven't figured
out how I'm going to get them off the truck after the
weigh-off.
