Need Help

I have a nice pumpkin that I would like to stop growing or slow down to next to no growth but I need it to hold up till weighoff.  What do I do?  The reason why I want to stop it is because it seems to have a weak spot where a small dill ring is starting.  The pumpkin has a 173" cir. with a side to side of 83.5 and a front to back of 102 for a total of 358.5OTT.  It is est at 893LBs and is still putting on 15LBs. a day.  The WI state record is 829LBs.  It is cantaloping around the whole bottom one-third of the pumpkin.  If I had another nice pumpkin as a backup I would let it go but the next biggest is only 302 OTT and is on the same plant.  What can I do?
