I can deny this. If the seeds you purchased from Howard Dill are Atlantic Giant or Show King Squash then you are fine. His seeds certainly are NOT commercial shelf seeds either. As a matter of fact, for some reason, grower's own crosses very often outshine the other seeds they plant the next year....I guess genetically they are used to the old nieghborhood? Since the growers often grow the seed from the plant that did best for them last year a certain amount of natural selection has already been done-the part that says some plants do better in some areas? You start with a leg up on different seeds?.....Good luck !....G
