Bill, I agree. It's all in the semantics and what you call it. "sport's
man growing pumpkins"= sportsmans records, sportsmans rules. you just have
to call it what it is.

To be an "Official State Record" one would think it would need to comply
with the requirements established by that state. Now if you want to talk
about a 'GPC State Record' you play by GPC rules. How can the GPC or any
other organization dictate to a state as to what qualifies as the "Official
State Record". Try telling your legislature they have to comply with GPC
rules. lol
