Well, this has gone on long enough.  

Since we can only have a world record weighed on October 5th apparently,
all 
of the records set last year dont count, and all the other pumpkins not 
weighed on October 5 in all of recorded history dont count either.  And
since 
there are more sun spots this year we cant recognize any pumpkins this
year 
either.  Next year will be el nino, annd since an actual year is slighty

longer thatn 365.25 days, it is too complicated for us pumpkin growers
when 
the exact time is to weigh our monsters, so we might as well just weigh
them 
at our house, and attach the UOW to every fruit.  It would obviously be
a 
moral wrong to recognize the 1262 Emmons because it was grown by a
woman, let 
alone the fact that she is a better grower than us men.

By that logic, the 1260.4 must not count because it was weighed at a 
different time last year than the GPC.  Neither should the 1144, 1111,
1109, 
1096.8, 1075, 1062*(1061), 1061 Zehr, 1048, 1016, 1010,1009.6, 1007,
1002.8, 
and about a thousand other fruit weighed on other days.  Furthermore, I
move 
to not allow any records from St. Catherines, Ontario because they have 
different weather than Windsor, Nova Scotia, Thus I proclaim the 875
Dill as 
the current Canadian record.  

Furthermore, I conclude that the current world record from here on out
should 
only be recognized as to come from the City of Woodburn, Indiana, and
thus 
proclaim the World Record as 694 lbs grown by the best grower in the 
world....Tom Beachy.  

I am right, and all else that disagree are wrong, so if you want to tell
me I 
am wrong, please do so in private as to not challenge my authority in
public, 
so I can abruptly tell you that you are a sinner, and thus are doomed to
hell.

Now being serious, If you think what i wrote is correct, you are one of

people.  

As for what started this discussion.  Mike N.  you are the man, the
Georgia 
state record holder.  Dont let two people ruin what you have
accomplished.  

I guess that everyone is a world record holder because noone is on a
level 
playing field.  There is no such thing.
