now this is the kind of weigh off I like the sound of! what pumpkin growing
is all about.  Not prize money, colour etc but friendship and a united
ambition to grow the mother of them all....

pity I'm in lil ol England, or I'd come along.

we've had a pretty cool summer, damp and overcast.  my baby really needed
the sun. just as the soil dried out a little so the roots could breath we
had about a months rain in a day and although the skin toughens, she swells
and nightmare, a spot a couple of cracks!
