Brad: All sports require clear concise rules and
brave and unbiased officials to enforce those rules. What gets the fans
angry is when the officials either don't know or don't enforce the rules.
Can you imagine a first quarter touchdown being nullified three days
later. The fans wouldn't be mad at the players.
If
the IPGA is involved in a weigh-off they need to take every step necessary
to make sure the competition is fair or risk the lose of
credibility. Uneven enforcement of the rules is just as frustrating as
chaos. But when the officials do their job, everyone is happy
and cannot wait for the next competition.
As
for trading places, I've been an AYSO ref, so I know better.
