Re: leaking


The rules are the same as GPC. If it is ruled sound before it hits the
scales, it will stand, but if there was a soft spot, as was with yours,
we have the right to determine if the soft spot goes to the core of the
fruit. Yours was deemed solid after a small amount of washing away of
captan paste and some scooping, and the weight stood. As is the case
with Tom Beachy's, if the soft spot would have been detected before it
hit the scales,(we do a very complete check I believe in Altoona (Art
Franek, Scott Werking, Marv Hicks and myself), it would have been ruled
EXH. 

As for the big green guy who drinks milk, he better be ready, I put on
15 pounds this season, and am very focused! haahaa..
