Re: stem split


Dave,

It really depends if the split is starting to open the flesh on the
shoulder.  I myself don't like to plug the holes dust with sulphur or captan
and keep it dry.  Some use a fan to help dry the area.  Look at your
cultural  practices that may have caused the split and back off .. Hope this
