Final 2003 Update from Bhaskaran's Patch in SE MN....


Howdy!
I was able to update the web page with pictures....if interested, look at the
359 Bhaskaran...has turned into a GREAT looking pumpkin!  Looks like a Field
Pumpkin only MUCH bigger!! :-)   The picture does not show the "real" orange
color it is. So bear that in mind.

Here are the top 8 pumpkins, not growing much even with all the warm nights
we have had into mid sept! 
Position, seed grown, est lbs, lbs gained last week.
#1 1230 Daletas           - 923 lbs, up 12lbs
#2  703 N.Bhaskaran    - 798 lbs , up 14lbs   (My Son's)
#3  430 Bhaskaran       - 753 lbs  , up  0lbs
#4- 430 Bhaskaran #2   - 717lbs,   up  7lbs
#5-    654 Troy              - 624lbs   Up  9lbs
#6-    359 Bhaskaran     - 618lbs   Up 18lbs  (Great looking!)
#7-   1337 Houghton       - 561lbs   Up 11lbs (My Son's)
#8-    501.5 Beachy        - 536lbs   Up 10lbs

Note: I was able to harvest a lot of seeds from my 756 lber (U0W) that split
after a 2 week almost 400lb growth period.  The seeds are already dried and
packaged...when the season is over I will offer them up for free, with
hopefully
others from above.  This was a 1092 Daigle x self cross.
