There is a new weighoff in Ohio this year, here are the details:
Oct 18 Stow Pumpkin Festival

arrive around 3:00 pm
4:00-6:30p.m.- Weighoff
7:00p.m.- Awards presentation
Prize schedule:
1st place $800
2nd place $ 500
3rd place $250
4th $125
5th $100
6th-10 $50
Following basic GPC rules, except there is only one class for pumpkins and squash. Email me if you want a copy of the rules.
Not a huge prize money event, but should be a fun time, I will be there with some big orange ones that weren't quite big enough for GPC contest, and hope to see a good number of other growers there enjoying the sport of giant pumpkin growing.
