weighing your pumpkins
The most exciting time of the year is the weigh-off, when friends and
competitors come together to share their prizes and to have them weighed.
Although using tape measures gives you a ball park figure, the truth is in
the scales. I personally don't want to know the exact weight until the
weigh-off....it just keeps the suspense going a few more days. And when
the weights are announced, to hear the ooh's, aah's and cheers is just
part of the experience. So I won't be needing anything more than a tape
measure until then and it is a heck of a lot cheaper, to boot.
