Dear Polly,
David will be happy to know that your pumpkin weighed 240 pounds at the
weighoff. You did better with his seed this year than he did. We think the
seed must have been the 649 D Morgan 03. Do you have a picture of it - was
it round and orange in the D Morgan tradition?
I think the grower you seek is
Gordon Tanner <s1tanner@yahoo.com>.
He is a wonderful grower and a wonderful man. I believe he presently holds
most of the records for Utah pumpkins.
