Glad to hear that some people are doing well will some
of my seeds. It's fun for me to read about. 
Sorry if they didn't do well for others. 
I got an email from Doug Heathman, from Kansas his was
619.5 lbs off my 835 2004 seed. So congratulations to
Doug ! 

For the most part, I don't think my seed are more heat
tolerant that anyone elses.  last year I did well and
got two around 900 lbs., a 906 and a 891.
the 906 is the Utah state record. 
 
the 906 came from the 963 Stucker from California and
the 891 came from the 735 Pukos from New York. 
My 835 came from the 900 Sandvik from BC Canada. So
they came from all over the place - and not really hot
places. 
So I think they are hit and miss as far as the heat
goes. which is basically what people have posted. 

Sorry to have been part of Polly's sad day at the
weigh off ... but I'm sure you'll come back and be
more prepared next season and do well
