Gordon, thanks again for the seed. I have 1 left and will try it again next
year...unless you offer me something more interesting...the one I had going
was bordering on perfection...size (according to the monster growth charts),
shape, and color. Couldn't have hoped for anything more exciting to watch
grow. I had pollinated it with the 981 Zunino. I then made a rookie mistake by
terminating too many secondaries, watering and fertilizing all in one
afternoon...actually the water came from above. The next day...major stem split...at
272#(est) new personal best for now. More than 100# more than last year...and
it lasted until the church picnic without rotting...sure is fun to see
people's eyes light up. Thanks for the contribution for a real fun summer of
