RE: Side Vines question

Immature AG's usually don't last too long. The shell has not
had the time to harden up enough and they tend to go soft.

I have had some luck with immature AG's at about 100 pounds, by
first letting them dry in a warm shady area for about a week
and then coating them with cooking oil to help seal them. After
the oil has soaked in for a few days, they can be stored in a
cool dry area like a celler. Still, if they are too immature,
they usually won't hold up for long.
