Re: Rotting Stem

Sometimes a fan running on the pumpkin will help to dry the area too. Keep
scraping away the rotting section. You never know - maybe you caught it
early enough???
We can hope . . .
:-)

A couple of days ago, I noticed the stem of one of my pumpkins had begun to
rot. I scraped away the rotted portion and coated the whole stem in a sulfur
paste. Perhaps an act of desperation, as fluid is beginning to drip though
the dried paste. Is there anything else I can do, or is her fate sealed?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
