"the best way would to manage a good spray program with a systematic
pesticide and no have svb's in the first place"
Amen to that. Looks like a plan for next year.

SVB's are usually not far from their entrance holes, they don't travel
deep into the vines, find the entrance hole clean up the chaff from
around the hole to get a better view if the direction that the svb has
traveled get a small wire form a small hook on the end and fish out the
SVB's Also I have removed them in the past with a good concentrated
blast of water from a hose it forces them right out but can be messy.
Of course the best way would to manage a good spray program with a
systematic pesticide and no have svb's in the first place.
