October is taking forever to get here! And then I have to wait until
the tenth to cut my giant for the weigh off! I am watching all of my
field pumpkin vines wither and now I am seeing some signs of the end on
my giant. I am getting anxious about loading it, I am getting anxious
about getting it safely to the weigh off, I am getting anxious about the
fall till and soil amendments, I am getting anxious about harvesting the
seeds! Then I read a chapter last night about how the Wallaces were 3
days away from the weigh off and lost two pumpkins to disease! Thanks
guys, now I am worked up about the potential time bomb inside this
beauty!
