RE: Amish Giant

When applying the fungicide how much are you able to get underneath the leaf
canopy? I have a decent pumpkin up in North Dakota and I have been doing
well with my fungicides, but I just am not sure how good of a job I need to
do with the fungicide? No problems getting the top of the leaves, but the
stems and inner canopy are more difficult.

This is year 2 for my pumpkin experience and I am currently measuring at
240# and hopefully another month of good conditions will keep this going!
Powdery Mildew is my biggest challenge in the fall as well as frost...

BTW...I did have a stem rot coming in one smaller pumpkin on another plant
and a good 'painting' of chlorthalonil is currently keeping it at bay, but
continue to watch that stem...

Yes, although growth has slowed quite a bit. We have had lows @40 degrees
the last few nights. The ground is still saturated from 12 inches of rain
last week. Her vines are succumbing to fungal problems despite applications
of Daconil. Thanks for asking. Will keep you posted.
