Thanks for the reply and thanks for asking the question about calcium. I
haven't done my soil test yet, and I have a sneaky suspicion that calcium is
just one element lacking in my garden. Steve M.

Steve M,
My in-laws have a lakehouse nearby. The wake wall inadvertently creates a
catchall for weeds from the boaters. It smells bad in the sun so it needs
removed anyway. I rake into the back of my truck and compost it. It is just
one of many organic materials I use. In my opinion, you should use your
source as well.

Hey, Steve Haberman, I have a question for you. The Great Amish Pumpkin
is
being fertilized with lakeweed. I just realized that I could use lakeweed
and
muck from an inlet of Lake Champlain here in Vt. Have you done any
comparisons between plants grown with and without lakeweed, or is all just
compost to you? Does anyone else reading this forum use lakeweed from a
lake/pond to grow AGs? Steve M.
